Operating Principles and Client Obligations
By commissioning specialized automotive programming, software calibration, or diagnostic routines at Vorsprung Automotive Kenya Ltd, the client explicitly agrees to the following structural terms and liability boundaries:
- Software Optimization vs. Physical Components
Our core specialty is automotive software engineering, microprocessor recalibration, and module data manipulation. While our software optimizations (including DPF, AdBlue, and EGR deletes) successfully alter the control instructions within the ECU/TCU, Vorsprung Automotive Kenya Ltd does not assume liability for the structural integrity or physical condition of the vehicle’s mechanical, hydraulic, or exhaust hardware post-optimization. It remains the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that any associated physical modifications (such as the physical downpipe fabrication or gutting of blocked exhaust elements) are handled correctly. - Pre-Procedure Verification and Risk Allocation
Our strict operating protocol dictates that a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, hardware ID validation, and checksum verification are performed before any programming takes place.
- If a vehicle exhibits hidden, pre-existing mechanical wear, compromised electrical harnesses, or thermal fatigue, the increased performance efficiency or altered operating parameters of a professional software calibration may accelerate the failure of those weak physical components.
- Vorsprung Automotive Kenya Ltd is not responsible for physical engine or transmission component failures (e.g., turbocharger bearings, actuators, cooling system elements, or internal engine hardware) that manifest after software delivery.
- Module Integrity and Programming Boundaries
We utilize subscription-backed, professional tools to establish stable connections on the bench or via boot-mode interfaces to maintain absolute data integrity. However, when working on modules that have previously suffered water ingress, micro-cracking from thermal stress, or corruption from generic programming interfaces, the module may be structurally unstable. Vorsprung Automotive Kenya Ltd handles original data files with the highest engineering care, but is not liable for structural hardware degradation of modules that are already physically or electronically compromised upon arrival. - Data Indemnification and File Handling
While we securely archive pristine, low-level binary backups of your vehicle’s original Flash and EEPROM sectors for restoration safety, our modified files are optimized specifically for your hardware infrastructure. Vorsprung Automotive Kenya Ltd provides no warranty for software files that are subsequently extracted, tampered with, or flashed over by unverified third-party tools or general repair shops after the vehicle leaves our facility.
